Future Headquarters Community
Future Headquarters Community is an urban design for a mixed-use district in Hangzhou, China. The plan combines office and residential functions to serve companies and their staff. High-rise buildings surround a central park, recalling the mountains around the West Lake. Water features connect the main public spaces, referring to the Grand Canal. Vertical public spaces on several levels link the buildings and support contact between people. The design hosts both large companies and start-ups in one shared setting.
Future Headquarters Community Office and Residence by ZUP has been selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
