Sky Tree
Sky Tree is a landscape design for a residential development. The layout is based on a central axis, open empty space, geometric framed views and overlapping layers of depth. These elements form calm areas with distinct characters, linked by clear circulation routes and framed artworks. Five pines in the front yard recall a traditional Chinese symbol of honour. A sculpture of a resting horse stands on the lawn at the centre. On the southwest side, a pool shaped like a jade belt is surrounded by varied planting and helps to moderate the local climate.
Sky Tree Landscape by Hsu Fu Chu was featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sky Tree Landscape received the Bronze A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards exceptional design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
